Xiaomi Mi5c New, First with S1 Surge Chipset
Xiaomi may miss the chance to show the latest smartphone at the Mobile Wolrd Congress arena here, but that does not mean they are silent and not innovating. Finally, they announce an important decision by carrying their own first-made processors and also the first smartphone to use them.

Xiaomi added that the process to create this chipset takes up to 28 months, starting from October 2014.
Mi5c itself is planned to be sold for 1,499 RMB (about 2.9 million rupiah) in China. In addition to the new chipset, Mi5c is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the front, 12-megapixel rear camera, 3GB of RAM and 65GB of internal memory. Xiaomi said that using the Surge S1 chipset makes the device even better in terms of camera, battery power efficiency, and performance.
