Xiaomi Mi5c New, First with S1 Surge Chipset

In addition to powered by the new chipset itself with 64-bit computing and clock up to 2.2 GHz, Mi5c also took a 5.5-inch wide screen. Its performance is claimed to be 40% more efficient than similar chipsets, while the resulting sound quality is also clearer. Xiaomi's first chipset can also improve the images with additional capability to capture images on low light schemes and increase the sensitivity to light.

Xiaomi added that the process to create this chipset takes up to 28 months, starting from October 2014.

Mi5c itself is planned to be sold for 1,499 RMB (about 2.9 million rupiah) in China. In addition to the new chipset, Mi5c is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the front, 12-megapixel rear camera, 3GB of RAM and 65GB of internal memory. Xiaomi said that using the Surge S1 chipset makes the device even better in terms of camera, battery power efficiency, and performance.
